The overall objective of this organization is to promote an ongoing cheer program in Northern Platte County. PCC strives to inspire its participants the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness, regardless of race, color, gender or creed. This organization will operate with the highest level of integrity and transparency.
This organization will provide a program oriented to quality supervision and safety mindfulness. PCC is a program directed at teaching the fundamentals of youth cheerleading and allowing its participants to grow with confidence, pride and spirit in an atmosphere that fosters these attributes both on and off the field.

Every board member and coach is a volunteer. We dedicate our time, energy, and our PIRATE PRIDE to our cheerleaders and community. Our coaches are trained and safety is our top priority.
We reward a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school cheerleader. This scholarship was created in memory of our former cheer coach, Maureen Parrett.
Registration is $250. This includes the use of PCC uniform, shell, skirt, and gameday bow (the bow is yours to keep). The uniform gets turned in at the end of the season. We are a nonprofit organization. There are many expenses to run the league and all money is used appropriately to make the league successful. If you have multiple cheerleaders participating, contact us immediately for multi-family discount. If you need a payment plan in order for your child to participate, please contact us, we never want money to be a reason a child doesn't get to cheer.
There are items required that you must purchase at the uniform fitting. These items include: poms $18, spanks $18, and crop $30. All cheerleaders are required to have solid white cheer shoe, which need to be purchased prior to camp in mid August. There are additional optional items: backpack $48, and warm up jacket $120. Any of these items purchased are yours to keep for seasons to come.
**Grand total: $234, if all items are purchased
Jr. Elite will also have a competition fee that is estimated to be $30-75 per cheerleader.
Registration cost includes a shirt and 4 nights of material taught by PCC Coaches. Attendance is required for those participating in our annual Pep Rally.
Kindergarten and 1st grade will practice one day a week.
2nd-6th grade will practice 2 days a week.
Participation at practice is extremely important and required. We cannot guarantee your cheerleader will be included in a stunt or cheer if practice is missed. Our coaches are trained and safety ALWAYS comes 1st.
**WE WILL NOT HAVE PRACTICE SCHEDULES UNTIL LATE AUGUST. The district allows us to use the buildings but we cannot make those requests until August. All practices are held in Platte City.
We cheer for PCYFL. We follow their game schedules. We like each cheerleader to cheer for their grade level. Games are every Saturday. Game participation is required. Schedules will be posted once released to PCYFL. We travel as far north as Savannah MO and as far south as Olathe KS for games.
